1 – Introduction – Architecture Design Powered by AI

Architecture Design is beautiful but hard. At Architechtures we have developed an AI Powered Architecture Design Program to help you out. Our AI will assist you with design sugestions, and will breeze through all the boring stuff you don´t like doing, allowing you to focus on what you excel at and enjoy the most: Designing Architecture. Read on to find out how.

architecture designARCHITEChTURES is an AI Powered Floorplanner, i.e. an AI-Assisted Architecture Design Program.

A Floorplanner is a tool for drawing floor plans of buildings. AI-Assisted means that we don’t have to do all the work ourselves, instead the AI helps us by doing a big part of the work.

But ARCHITEChTURES is more than that: it is an AI-Assisted building design platform. This is a broader concept that mainly translates into two concepts:

Assisted Architecture Design

During the design process the AI assists us by generating by itself large parts of the project layout. It does this by following the instructions given by the user in an iterative process that refines the project.

Automation of Repetitive Processes

A big chunk of the work in architecture are repetitive processes such as modeling, measuring take offs, calculations and counting stuff. Automating them not only streamlines the process of generating metrics but also allows us to make informed decisions leading to better designs.

Getting started with ARCHITEChTURES

To use it, it is not necessary to install anything as it is an online platform. We can use it from any browser, although it is optimized for use in Chrome. Nor is it necessary to have a particularly powerful computer. All the heavy calculations are done on our servers, only the user interface is running in the local environment.

If we already have an account we click on Login on the ARCHITEChTURES page and enter our credentials to access.

However, if we do not have an account we need to register in order to start working in ARCHITEChTURES.

How do we register in ARCHITEChTURES?

We can register for free with a FREE account permanently. Or we can also register with a PRO account and enjoy 15 days free, to test all the full functionality.

We find options to register in either of the two ways in several places on the ARCHITECTURES website.

The Dashboard

It is divided into two parts: the Top Ribbon and the Project Summary.

The Top Ribbon

AI-Assisted Architecture Design Dashboard TopRibbonProduct

Takes us back to the ARCHITEChTURES home page. It contains a lot of information about what ARCHITEChTURES is, the advantages of using it and how it works.

Resources

Here there is content to learn how to use ARCHITEChTURES, both in text and image format as well as in video format.

Pricing

Here there is information about the different subscription models, our token packages and their costs, sign up now for free!

Blog

Here are several articles on the application in the field of architecture of the latest technological trends. Specifically about artificial intelligence, as well as where ARCHITEChTURES fits in in the field.

Contact

Our contact information, don’t be a stranger, don´t hesitate to write to us!

Projects

This is the Dashboard page we reach by default when accessing the platform.

Tokens

Here you can buy token packs for your account, with it you can generate downloadable BIM, CAD or XLS documents. You can also check your token balance and a record of package purchases and expenditures on document downloads.

Multi-user

Here you can convert your account to a multi-user account, purchase licenses for more colleagues and add them to your account. Multi-user accounts share Presets and Token spending.

Admin

Takes us to the administration part of the account. To access we must enter our administration credentials, by default they will be the same as our login credentials to access the platform. You will be able to check orders, manage your subscription and billing address or change the password to access the administration part of the account, among other stuff.

Language

The square button with the initials ES/EN is the interface language selector.

Profile

And the last icon, the color circle with the acronym of our username takes us to our profile. Here we can exit the application or change the password to access the platform.

The Project Summary

From the Dashboard we can see all our projects and a summary of the housing mix, areas and estimate.

AI-Assisted Architecture Design Dashboard Summary

Clicking on the + symbol to the left of the project name displays the information of the buildings it contains.

New

With the New button highlighted in black on the right, we create a new project giving it a name and a location, after refreshing the page we will see our new project.

To the right of each project we have the available actions:

Duplicate

Creates a copy of the project in order to explore different versions.

Delete

Deletes the project if we have already discarded this version.

Download

Allows us to download the project downloadable documents. We can generate BIM (Revit), CAD (AutoCad) or XLS (Excel) documents.

Send

Allows us to share the project with other users in two different modes by simply entering their email address:

In Readonly Mode

The project can be accessed in all view modes, but may not be edited.

Intended to send a project to a client or someone else in order for them to view the project but not to edit it.

In Edit Mode

The project will also be editable.

Especially useful for working with different colleagues on the same project.

Edit

The last black triangle icon accesses the Project Editor. This is where we will work 99% of the time.

When we login to ARCHITEChTURES, “Edit” is briefly disabled while our working environment is set up on the server, this process usually takes about 50 seconds.

If our working environment is already created, we can access the project editor via the Edit button.

How the Editor works is explained at the Project Editor User Interface section.
